We are the USA

The Jon Garrido Network, owner of Hispanic News, the number 1 ranked Hispanic website

at Google, Yahoo and Bing, and owner of Latino News, New Mexico News, Albuquerque News, Latin America News, Mujer, Latina, Chica, Subete, Nueva Hispania, Kid Town, Ultra Living and Jon Garrido News is now creating a social networking site similar to Facebook for Hispanics and Latinos.

Latinos and Hispanics have become the fastest-growing communities online, with the number of Latinos and Hispanics using the Internet in the United States predicted to surpass 26 million in 2011.

A budding segment of that community — users of social media — is gaining momentum.

The new website: Somos USA will be a centralized platform for expression, support, education, mobilization and advocacy of issues with Immigration Reform in 2013 being our number one priority.

The biggest and most up to date source of Immigration Reform and other news articles that impact the Hispanic/Latino communities can be found at Hispanic News and Latino News.

We want our members to be part of our evolution into full-scale online communities that are truly built for and by Hispanics and Latinos.

The new site will let Hispanics and Latinos in social media:

• List themselves and their services for free in a searchable database of nearly 1,000,000 people worldwide.

• Connect their blogs to their Somos USA account and share them through social media platforms.

• Join Somos USA groups based on your interests.

• Organize national and local Somos USA initiatives.

Target completion date is 2012.

The only way to make change is to Vote.

To make change, Hispanics & Latinos need to control the message.

The next national vote is November 2012.

Somos USA

will determine the outcome of the 2012 elections.

Vote for a Hispanic/Latino to make a difference.
